About Cindy Schnabel Berman
My career in art began after college when I managed the Renaissance Fine Arts gallery in Bethesda, MD. Soon thereafter, I founded and operated Creative Soul Studios, through which I have been creating art for more than 25 years. I began with faux finishing and repurposing furniture, and my business grew into commissioned artwork in multiple mediums, including custom interior painting, large scale wall murals, mosaics, and mixed-media artwork (sculptures, metal, glass, clay, hydrocal, ceramic, painting, fabric, jewelry, etc.)
One of my most recent projects, I partnered with award-winning, world renowned Jewish/Judaica artist Gary Rosenthal, who welcomed me into his studio and mentored me in his unique craft to create this mixed-media collection for the 72 Names of G-d.(The Consciousness Collection)
My artwork can be seen throughout the DC/MD/VA area, Philadelphia, and in other locations in the US and Israel. My pieces can be found in residential homes, corporations, model homes, restaurants, and retail stores. I have made some of my favorites for the Amoroso Estate on the Philadelphia Main Line, the NSO Potomac Decorator Showhouse in Potomac, MD, Primi Piatti restaurant in Tysons Corner, VA, The Somerset House in Chevy Chase, MD, Tortilla Coast Restaurant in Capitol Hill, Washington DC, and The Kabbalah Centre in Miami, FL.In addition to being an Artist, I am also a Creative Consciousness Coach. I empower others to discover their unique gifts, listen to their intuition and elevate their soul. I champion clients through coaching and workshops to illuminate the powerful inner light and extraordinary potential that resides in each of us.
I graduated from American University with a BA in Fine Arts & Design and a minor in Psychology, am a licensed Cosmetologist, and trained at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) in Coaching, where I earned my CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach). I was also awarded a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) by the International Coach Federation and graduated from CTI’s 10-month intensive Co-Active Leadership Program. I am a mentor & teach a class entitled ‘Creativity and Consciousness’ at The Kabbalah Centre in Miami, Florida.
